Jagannath Rath Yatra 2026 is on Thursday, 16 July 2026. The festival falls on Ashadha Shukla Dwitiya, the second lunar day of the bright fortnight in the Hindu month of Ashadha.

The grand procession covers roughly 3 kilometres along Puri's Grand Road (Bada Danda), from the Jagannath Temple to Gundicha Temple. The deities stay at Gundicha Temple for nine days before the return journey.
